MITRE Bedford Young Women in Engineering Workshop FAQs

If I attended this workshop last year, will I see new things this year?	There is a likelihood that some of the three workshop sessions are repeats from previous years.
What should I bring?	Signed permission slip (2 pages!) A photo ID if you have one (If you do not have a photo ID, it is okay). If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, you may want to bring your own breakfast and/or lunch.
Where do I go?	The workshop is in the MITRE Center (C-building) on the MITRE campus. MITRE is at 202 Burlington Road in Bedford, MA. Directions can be found on MITRE's website. When you arrive at MITRE, follow the signs to "MITRE Center" You may park anywhere in the parking lot near the MITRE Center and proceed to the MITRE Center lobby for registration. Doors open at 8:30 AM, but program activities do not begin until 9:00 AM. MITRE volunteers will greet you upon arrival and escort you to the morning session.
What should I wear?	Wear comfortable clothing and shoes as you will be walking around the campus. Anything that is appropriate to wear to school is fine to wear to MITRE. Please make sure to bring a warm jacket as one of the demonstrations may take place outside.
When is the workshop over?	At 2:00 pm, if someone is picking you up they should meet you at the MITRE Center lobby.
If a registered student is unable to attend, may we send another student in their place?	No, unfortunately registrations are non-transferable between students. Each student must be pre-registered online before November 7th.
